We built pdfdots so that anyone can merge, compress, convert or sign a PDF without installing anything, and that stays true: the free plan needs no credit card and gives you every tool. What it does have is a daily allowance. Running the server-side converters, storing encrypted files and keeping the site fast costs us real money every month, and a small paid plan is how we keep the lights on without ads inside the tools or selling anyone's data.
So here is the deal, in plain numbers. On the free plan you get 3 tasks per day, files up to 10 MB each and 100 MB of My files storage. Bronze raises that to 20 tasks a day, 25 MB files and 1 GB. Silver removes the daily limit, accepts files up to 100 MB and gives you 10 GB of encrypted storage. Gold is built for heavy use, with 250 MB files, 100 files per task and 50 GB. You can pay monthly or yearly, and you can cancel whenever you like.

Office, PDF/A and HTML conversions run on our server and are capped at 50 MB on every plan (10 MB on Free). Prices in USD. Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record; sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout.

What counts as a task
A task is one run of a tool: pressing the button that merges, compresses, converts, signs or otherwise produces a result. Adding and removing files, reordering pages or changing settings before you run the tool never counts. Merging twelve files into one PDF is a single task, and so is compressing one large scan. The counter resets every day at midnight UTC, and you can see where you stand from the message we show when the allowance is used up.
We chose three because that covers what most people need on a normal day: fix one document, send it, maybe convert an attachment. If you need a few more tasks on busy days, Bronze is enough. If you work with PDFs all day, for example in an office, a law practice or while applying to jobs, Silver is the plan that fits, and Gold is for teams of one who handle large scans, long reports and big batches every week.
Which plan and billing period to choose
The three plans differ in limits, not in tools: every plan, including Free, can use every tool. Bronze costs $2.99 a month or $23.99 a year. Silver costs $5.99 a month or $47.99 a year. Gold costs $11.99 a month or $95.99 a year. Paying yearly saves about a third compared with twelve monthly payments. If you subscribed to Pro before these plans existed, including on a weekly plan, nothing changes for you: you keep your original price and get the Silver limits.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Prices are shown in US dollars; depending on where you live, sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout, and your bank may convert the amount into your currency.
Frequently asked questions
How do I cancel? Open this page while signed in and use the manage subscription button. It takes you to the customer portal of Creem, our payment provider, where you can cancel in a couple of clicks. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for, and then your account returns to the free plan. Files you already stored stay available to open and delete; new saves need to fit the 100 MB free storage.
Can I get a refund? Yes. If a paid plan is not right for you, write to contact@pdfdots.com within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. For later renewals we look at every request individually and are generous when something went wrong on our side. Our Terms of Service describe the refund policy in detail.
Who processes my payment? Payments are handled by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record for pdfdots. That means Creem is the seller on your receipt, takes care of the checkout, card data, invoices and sales tax, and we never see or store your card number. We only receive a confirmation that your subscription is active and when it renews.
Does a paid plan change how my files are processed? No. Most tools still run entirely in your browser, and server-side conversions still delete your file immediately after returning the result. Paid plans change limits, not privacy. One limit applies on top of every plan: conversions that run on our server (Office, PDF/A and HTML) are capped at 50 MB, because that service converts each file in a sealed, temporary environment that we keep small on purpose.
Can I switch plans? Yes. Open this page while signed in and use the manage subscription button to move up or down. Do I need an account? Yes, every plan uses the same free pdfdots account, which also works in the PDF Dots mobile app. Sign in first, then pick a plan, so the subscription is attached to the right account.
