PDF to PowerPoint Converter

Sometimes you need a PDF inside PowerPoint: a report to walk through in a meeting, a handout to combine with your own slides, or a document to present with PowerPoint's presenter tools. This converter creates a .pptx file in which each PDF page becomes one slide.

Every page is placed on its slide as a high-resolution image, so it looks exactly like the original, with the same fonts, colors and layout. The trade-off is honest to state: the text on the slides is part of the image and can't be edited in PowerPoint. You can still add your own text boxes, notes and animations on top, reorder slides or mix them into another deck. If you need to edit the text itself, convert the PDF to Word instead.

The conversion runs on our own server in Germany (EU). Your file is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection, converted, sent back to you and deleted immediately — never stored, never shared and never used for anything else. Files can be up to 10 MB on the free plan and up to 50 MB on paid plans. Because slides are images, a long PDF produces a fairly large .pptx.

Why images instead of editable text? Rebuilding slides from a PDF means guessing where each text box starts, which font was used and how every line wraps, and the result often looks broken: overlapping boxes, substituted fonts, bullets turned into stray symbols. For presenting, a page that looks exactly right beats an editable one that looks wrong, so we chose fidelity and say plainly that the text cannot be edited. If you need both, convert to PowerPoint for the visuals and use PDF to Word or PDF to Text to copy the wording you want to rework.

A practical workflow for turning a PDF report into a presentation: pull out only the pages you will talk about with Extract Pages, convert those, then in PowerPoint crop a slide image to zoom into a chart or table and add your own title and speaker notes. Page shape matters too. If your main deck uses widescreen 16:9 slides, a portrait A4 or Letter page copied into it leaves wide empty margins, so we often place two pages side by side or crop to the half that matters. Landscape PDFs, such as exported slide decks or posters, fill a widescreen slide much better. On the free plan you can convert PDFs up to 10 MB, three tasks a day; if a long document is bigger, split it first.
